PROMENEUR (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) is the latest progeny out of the Wertheimers' G2 Prix de Royallieu winner Balladeuse (Fr) (Singspiel {Ire}) to race for the operation, with the Christophe Ferland-trained chestnut being a full-brother to the G1 Prix Vermeille winner Left Hand (GB) and a half to last year's G1 Prix Jean Romanet third Romanciere (Ire) (Dansili {GB}). He encounters a trio from the Jean-Claude Rouget stable including Antonio Caro's Campello (Fr) (Almanzor {Fr}), whose dam is a half to this year's G2 Prix du Gros-Chene winner Pradaro (Fr) (Penny's Picnic {Ire}).
